PRESCRIPTION LENSES FROM CLIPPS EYEWEAR

All our clip-on frames can be fitted with high-quality prescription lenses.

All lenses come standard with a multi-coating against reflections and a premium hard coating against scratches.

With various options or upgrades such as Blue Coating, Transitions/photochromic or thinning, all these lenses can be further personalised to your choice.

TYPES OF GLASSES

  • Single vision lenses. From 79 euros / pair

    As the name suggests, single-vision lenses have only one power, making them suitable for correcting either distance or near vision. If you no longer see well in the distance or have difficulty reading smaller print, then glasses with single-vision lenses are ideal.

  • Multifocal lenses. From 159 euros / pair

    Do you no longer see well in the distance and do you also have difficulty reading? Then you can opt for multifocal lenses. Multifocal lenses combine different strengths in one lens, meaning you only need one pair of glasses for both sharp far vision and sharp near vision.

Multifocal lenses

  • The upper part of the lens corrects distance vision and the lower part corrects near vision.

  • In the middle is a transition zone suitable for intermediate distances.

  • The inner and outer sides (peripheral areas) are areas with less sharp vision. Because progressive lenses are made up of different parts, this requires a period of getting used to them and adjusting your viewing habits at first.

LUXURY Design

Luxury design multifocal lenses are developed for a pleasant and smooth transition from far vision to near vision.

Due to a large field of vision in the distance and near parts, you immediately have a comfortable and sharp view.

LUXURY Plus Design

Do you lead an active lifestyle or are you looking for a varifocal lens with extra comfort? Then choose the PLUS design.

This latest-generation progressive lens has an extra wide field of vision in both the distance and reading areas.

This guarantees maximum comfort while reading, working on a screen, or driving.

LENS OPTIONS & UPGRADES

Photochromic/Transitions lenses

PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES. Lenses for all light conditions!

Thanks to photochromatic molecules, these lenses darken under the influence of UV rays, eventually turning into a sunglass tint.

Very useful when you are exposed to the sun or if you are sensitive to excessive light.

Please note: in combination with the clip, this function will work less effectively.

Blue light coating/Lutina

BLUE COAT / LUTINA LENSES. Extra protection when using screens.

Due to the frequent use of screens, the eyes are exposed to artificial blue light for a long period of time. This often leads to irritated or tired eyes.

A Blue Coat/Lutina filter largely filters out high-energy blue light from screens. This provides rest and more comfort for the eyes.

In short, spectacle lenses with a blue filter/Lutina help you stay productive all day long without compromising your comfort or the health of your eyes.

Diluted glasses

THINNER LENSES. Aesthetically more appealing, lighter in weight.

These lenses are made from a special material with a higher refractive index.

This allows the lenses to be ground much thinner than standard lenses. This results in a lens that is aesthetically more pleasing. In addition to the aesthetic advantage, the lens is also much lighter in weight, which in turn improves wearing comfort.

These thinned lenses are ideal for strengths between -2.00 / +2.00 and -4.00 / +4.00.

Maximally diluted glasses

MAXIMALLY THINNED LENSES. Thickness optimization for higher prescriptions.

When a higher strength is necessary, it is best to opt for maximum thinning.

As with standard thinned lenses, the lens is made from a special material with an even higher refractive index.

This makes the lens even thinner and lighter in weight.

Ideal for corrections from -4.00 / +4.00.
