Refund policy

You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason, in accordance with European consumer protection law.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us via: info@clipps.org.
After notifying us, you must return the item within a reasonable period.

The item must:

  • be in good condition,
  • have been used only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning,
  • be returned in its original packaging, if possible,
  • be accompanied by proof of purchase. 

If the item has been used beyond what is permitted, a reduction in value may be applied.

Exception: Personalized Products

Products made to order according to the customer’s specifications, including prescription lenses, are not subject to the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.

This means these products cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of:

  • manufacturing defects,
  • damage upon delivery,
  • non-conformity.

This exception does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

 

Warranty on Prescription Lenses (Comfort Guarantee)

At CLIPPS, we strive for optimal wearing comfort and high customer satisfaction.
If you experience issues with your prescription lenses (such as adaptation or comfort problems), please contact us within a reasonable period via info@clipps.org.

We will carefully assess your situation and, if necessary, propose a suitable solution, such as:

  • adjustment of the lenses,
  • replacement of the lenses.

We always aim to provide a solution that matches the customer’s comfort and expectations.

This guarantee applies only if:

  • the prescription data provided by you is correct and complete,
  • the lenses have been used normally and in accordance with the instructions for use. 

 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt.
Contact us as soon as possible at info@clipps.org. if:

  • the item is defective or damaged,
  • you received the wrong item. 

We will assess the situation and, if necessary, provide an appropriate solution.

 

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return in accordance with applicable law, including:

  • personalized or custom-made products, such as prescription lenses,
  • gift cards.

This exception does not apply in cases of:

  • defects,
  • damage upon delivery,
  • non-conformity.

Exchanges

Exchanges are handled by returning the original item and placing a new order.
If you wish to exchange an item, you may return it in accordance with our return policy and then place a new order for the desired item.

14-Day EU Legal Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable law.
The conditions and procedures for exercising this right are described in our return policy.

 

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you of its receipt and whether it has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically within ten working days via the original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
Please contact us at info@clipps.org if more than 15 working days have passed since your return was approved.

 

Return Costs

Returns are free of charge for the customer.
If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return label and instructions for sending the package.
In case of defects, damage upon delivery, or non-conformity, all return costs are fully covered by CLIPPS.
