FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
QUESTIONS ABOUT...
The CLIPPS-Glasses
How does the magnetic sun clip work?
The magnetic clip-on sunglasses are designed to seamlessly attach to your frames thanks to an integrated magnetic system. They automatically align with the frames and snap into place in just one second, without any hassle.
Once attached, the clip immediately transforms your prescription glasses into sunglasses, offering effective UV protection against harmful sun rays. The system is lightweight, sturdy, and easy to remove when needed, allowing you to switch between clear vision and sun protection at any time.
Are CLIPPS frames compatible with prescription lenses?
Yes, all CLIPPS frames can be fitted with high-quality prescription lenses tailored to your vision needs, including single vision and multifocal options.
Our lenses come standard with an anti-reflective coating and scratch-resistant treatment, and can be further customized with options such as a blue light filter, photochromic (light-adapting) lenses, and thinner lenses.

Do I need time to get used to varifocal lenses?
Yes, a short adjustment period is quite normal when you first wear multifocal lenses. These lenses are designed with multiple viewing zones (distance, intermediate, and near), so your eyes and brain need some time to adapt to this new way of seeing.
During the first few days, you may notice slight distortions or feel the need to move your head differently to find the correct focus. This is part of the normal adaptation process.
Most users adapt within a few days to a couple of weeks. To facilitate the transition, we recommend wearing your glasses regularly and allowing your eyes to adjust naturally.
If the discomfort persists, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form, by email at ✉️info@clipps.org or by phone at 📞+32 495 21 04 61.
We are happy to help you find the most suitable solution.
Do I need a valid prescription?
A valid and recent prescription is required to order corrective lenses. This ensures that your glasses are accurately tailored to your vision and provide optimal visual comfort.
You are responsible for providing correct and complete prescription details when placing your order. We strongly recommend using a recent prescription from a recognized eye care professional.
CLIPPS cannot be held responsible for any discomfort or vision problems resulting from incorrect or outdated information provided by the customer.
If you have any doubts about your prescription, we recommend consulting your optician or eye care professional before placing your order.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be in its original condition, unused, and returned with all original packaging and proof of purchase.
Please note that certain products, such as custom-made corrective lenses, are excluded from the right of withdrawal, except in cases of defect, damage upon delivery, or non-conformity.
To initiate a return, we recommend first contacting us via ✉️ info@clipps.org, so we can guide you through the process.

Are all products eligible for return?
No, not all products are eligible for return.
According to European consumer law, personalized or custom-made products, such as prescription lenses, cannot be returned or refunded once the order has been processed. This is because they are specifically manufactured based on your personal prescription and chosen options.
However, this exception does not apply in the event of:
- a manufacturing defect
- damage during delivery
- or when the product does not match your order
In such cases, we will, of course, offer an appropriate solution.
For all details on return conditions, exceptions, and procedures, please refer to our Refund Policy.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return costs may vary depending on the reason for the return.
If the product is defective, was delivered damaged, or does not match your order, we will bear the full return costs.
In all other cases, such as withdrawal within the statutory cooling-off period, the return costs may be borne by the customer.
We recommend contacting us via ✉️ info@clipps.org before returning an item, so we can guide you through the return process and provide the correct instructions.
For more detailed information on return costs and conditions, please consult our Refund Policy.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive your returned item, it will be carefully inspected to ensure it meets our return conditions. You will then be notified whether your return has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days via your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process and reflect the refund in your account.
